Parent Advisory Council
The Crawford Bay Elementary-Secondary school’s Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meets the first Monday of the month at 5:30 pm.
The CBESS PAC members have identified three distinct areas of need: a dedicated Hot Lunch Program, annual Secondary students travel, and Elementary music programming. These initiatives receive annual funding in the amount of $1500 per school year. The PAC raises this money through sales/profit of Grocery Gift Cards Fundraiser. Additionally fundraising is done by specific sub-committees for either the above identified areas, as needed, as well as parent/student requested subsidies such as the annual Grad Award, drama, extra-curricular sports, etc.
Parents/guardians can make a difference to the quality of their children’s education by getting involved in what they are doing in school and by taking part in their PAC. This is an open invitation to all parents to bring forward any suggestions, concerns, issues, needs for fundraising to your PAC. We gladly receive any proposals and will bring them forward to the rest of the CBESS parents.
