Hello Crawford Bay Families,

What a wonderful year it has been!
We had such a busy wrap-up to the year with a wildly fun Field Day organized by the Otter Class. Those crocheted water balloons are the best!
I am sending enormous gratitude to Crawford Bay School parents, kids, and the East Shore Communities who have been kind, creative, and generous partners. Crawford Bay School is a very special place, and it has been a wonderful 3 years working in support of learning here.

The school is in good hands with the very experienced Carmella Mathieu. She has visited the school twice, and we will work together this summer to make the transition as smooth as possible. My last official day is July 31st, and then Carmella starts on August 1st. Though Carmella doesn't yet have an SD8 email, starting August 1st, it will be carmella.mathieu@sd8.bc.ca. She will be at the school starting August 24th.

In the meantime, please reach out if you have questions, would like to know about planning for next year, or know of families who might want to register and would like a school tour.

Have a great summer, and hope to see you at Starbelly or back in the fall/winter when I return to volunteer with the pottery program.
