A wonderful winter concert- thank you CBS staff and students!

Image

In Crawford Bay School, a snowy December night,

A packed house gathered, spirits shining bright.

Standing room only, a festive delight,

For our Winter Concert, a magical sight.

The PAC selling treats, a feast for the taste,

 Gourmet pizza and pastries embraced.

Honey-glazed figs, a delectable grace,

To keep us fueled for the concert's embrace.

Families arrived, hearts full of glee,

A mountain of donations, for all to see.

Healthy non-perishables, a gift from the heart,

A community united, playing its part.

The stage packed with children, small and tall,

They burst into song, Rudolf leading them all.

Kindergarten and grade one, a Penguin Polka affair,

Their joyous performance, filling the air.

Grade two and three, wide awake with glee,

Mortimer's antics, a play for all to see.

"Clang Clang Rattle Bing Bang," the chorus so loud,

A lively reminder, in Munsch's playful crowd.

Grade six, seven, eight, a lesson so clear,

"Santa Goes on Strike," we gathered near.

Oh no! Selfish desires, the play did unveil,

A reminder to give, in the winter's tale.

Grade four and five, a theatrical display,

"12 Days of Christmas" in  Canadian aray.

Then, on the edge of seats, grade six to eight,

"The Year Santa Forgot Christmas," a tale so great.

On the edge of our seats, a tale so bold,

"The Year Santa Forgot Christmas," stories untold.

Grade six, seven, eight, with lessons profound,

The true spirit of winter, in their voices, resound.

Music Makers, after-school singers delight,

O Tannenbaum, Deck the Halls, a harmonious flight.

Feliz Navidad, their voices in the night,

A chorus of joy, under the cold moonlight.

To close this special night, in unity we stand,

"We Wish You a Merry Christmas," hearts in hand.

Wishing joy and warmth, spreading good cheer,

A Happy New Year to all, as the echoes draw near.
