Applied Design, Skills and Technologies curriculum in action! 

Crawford Bay School students from K-8 worked in groups led by Mr. Winger's shop students from Kootenay River Secondary School to create soap box cars for their stuffies. 

Students created designs, made safety equipment for their stuffies and had tons of fun making team cheers. Once the designs were complete, the KRSS kids whipped them up in the shop and we got to shoot them off a ramp outside of the school. 

Some cars went farther than others and a great deal was learned for next year's collab!
